Extending an invitation to our upcoming virtual retreat:
Return to the Root is a virtual retreat focused on community care, locating collective strengths, and examining our cultural premises. We will be rooting down in ways of knowing and being that have been overlooked and devalued - and that those of us facilitating this space think are essential for negotiating the turning points we are all facing.
If you need to rest, inhale, gather strength reorganize and reanimate your vision - you are very welcome to join us.
FINANCIAL AID: There are half, quarter, and full scholarships available so no one should be excluded for financial hardship.
REST & ACCOMMODATIONS: We have scheduled and paced this retreat so those negotiating fatigue and disabilities of focus and energy of various kinds can participate and self-regulate.
RECORDING: A recording will be made of the program and will be available for the same graduated pricing for anyone who registers for the event before or after the live virtual gathering.

Janine De Novais - Writer, sociologist, and teacher interested in the cultural project of human liberation
Martha Crawford - Writer, former psychotherapist, now focused on community resilience, group work and psychologies of liberation
Nina Hatfield - host of Co-Resting community groups; scholar of mythology from a depth psychological perspective; and close observer of the quiet, subtle, and symbolic
Gogo Khayela - Sangoma and scholar interested in intrapersonal ethics and Buntfu/Ubuntu as virtues for a more embodied collective world
Catherine May - Transformational Coach & Entrepreneur based in NYC whose work is to bring people together & to themselves
Elena Solano - Artist, cultural worker and community consultant
