A GATHERED MEETING TO SUPPORT HELPERS:
FACILITATION TEAM
This is an invitation for those who are interested in developing out a once or twice monthly online Sunday gathered meeting to support professional and natural helpers, carers, advocates and activists as we negotiate a period of intense political and economic challenge, loss, fear and chaos, while providing palliative support and emotional mutual aid to our wider communities.
Donations are accepted but not required for this training and this is not a proprietary model so facilitators are encouraged to create their own community spaces with it.
You do not need to be a helping professional to facilitate

Vocation and Discernment for Helping Professions
Room for 2 more members
Why do we do what we do? What are the hazards to ourselves and others? How do we integrate the “shadow” aspects of the helping professions? How do we promote justice in our practices and our professions? How should global crises – pandemics, the rise of the extreme right, racial oppression and colonialism, and climate breakdown and climate disaster come into our work or transform our professional identities? What contains and holds us? What calls us, and what is our calling in a time of challenge and crisis?
This is not a psychotherapy group or a clinical supervision group. This is a facilitated peer support group and reflective space created to think about how our collective needs and callings are - or are not served - by our current professional practice models
Brief or Intermittent Consultation
If we work together, I hope that our collaboration might unseat a few certainties and leave you instead with a handful of generative questions.
